Peruvian Wharf

Located on the banks of the River Thames opposite the O2 in the heart of London's Royal Docks, Peruvian Wharf has lain largely disused for over 35 years and is now one of the largest cleared ready-to-go sites in London.

Recently the subject of a planning inquiry, the proposals on display here were refused permission by the Secretary of State in January 2007. These plans would have returned wharf usage to the full riverfront, created 1,700 new jobs and 1,500 new homes integrated around West Silvertown DLR station located on site. The designs can still be viewed by clicking on 'View Presentation' and Capital & Provident is now considering alternative plans for the site.
